Will the ERF be safe?

The Environmental Permitting process will address operational safety.  NRW will only issue a permit once they are satisfied that the facility will have appropriate measures in place to protect the environment and that it will be run by a competent operator.  NRW will continue to monitor and regulate the operations and the operator throughout the life of the facility.
